A Design Collaboration with SEP Jordan

SEP Jordan are a social enterprise who are based in Switzerland and Jordan, and you can find out more about them h ere. One of their current collections is based on ceramics found in The Alhambra, Spain. I was very honoured to be asked to design a pattern inspired by the Alhambra, for an Italian linen pashmina for Autumn/Winter 15/16. These were then hand embroidered in Jordan in the traditional Palestinian cross stitch, known as Tatreez. Contributing to a social enterprise that bases itself on ethical sustainable fashion wasright up my street, and I look forward to working with them again in the future!
