Boris Aldridge is a ceramic artist who lives in Suffolk. His explorations with Islamic style patterns and motifs in the medium of hand carved and hand glazed clay are really something to be seen. A call out for a textile artist to translate some of his work into fabric led to silk painted impressions of some patterns. An experiment in size, colour, and interpretation, all the images show hand painted designs on silk with wax and watercolour, gouache, and ink.
